In this workshop, Erin will provide participants with practical tools to enhance civic engagement, including:

• The importance of federal election preparedness
• Unifor's framework for election success
• Communication strategies
• Workplace and social mapping
• Structured organizing conversations

The event will conclude with a question and answer period.

Erin Harrison is a National Representative in the Membership Mobilization and Political Action Department at Unifor. Unifor is the largest private sector union in Canada representing 320,000 members in almost every major sector of the Canadian economy. Erin began her career on the line at General Motors and was an active member of her Local Union of Unifor (then CAW) Local 222.

Prior to coming home to Unifor in 2018, Erin held a number of roles at the Canadian Labour Congress including (CAW nominated) National Representative for Young Workers, National Staff Representative, and most recently Ontario Director (making her the youngest female director responsible for the largest region).
